The Rapid Detox process is conducted in a hospital setting by a licensed, certified and qualified anesthesiologist and nursing staff, who specialize in these procedures. Patients are placed under general anesthesia and medications are administered that accelerate the body’s physical reactions to opiod withdrawal.
The process typically lasts for several hours. Benefits may include a cessation of physical dependency to opoids, and a reduced time period of withdrawal symptoms, compared to conventional detox.Rapid Detox services are facilitated by Local Drug Rehab Centers and provided by local, qualified hospitals.
